Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid Al Haqeel launched the Alliance Platform to be a center for contractors to search and communicate with other contractors to develop a union between the two sides to complete projects in the best possible way.

The activities of the fourth International Contractors Conference continued during the period from February 26-27, 2024 in conjunction with Big5 Saudi , which targets more than 55,000 visitors to the exhibition.

In its fourth edition, the conference is a comprehensive platform and an opportunity to communicate with industry leaders and decision makers, and a unique event in the contracting sector in the Kingdom to review the latest technologies and equipment used in urban construction, the contribution of smart cities to improve the quality of life, highlight the concept of sustainability and its impact on the environment, and discuss the latest construction technology practices with the participation of more than 25 local and international speakers representing more than 40 countries, who will review the latest information, experiences and technologies.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Construction Industry Council (SCCIC) said that the conference will be held in Saudi Arabia. “The Kingdom is undergoing tremendous changes as part of Vision 2030, and part of this change is to achieve a sustainable contracting sector for the Kingdom,” said Zakaria Al Abdulqader, Chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority, noting that the Authority's mission is to regulate and develop the sector and enable it to build specialized capacities and raise productive standards in the sector.
