White Land Fee Program since its launch has achieved a qualitative leap in increasing the real estate supply in the Kingdom, as the areas provided exceeded 160 million square meters in various regions. This growth reflects the efforts made to promote urban expansion and support the real estate market.

Program Achievements

According to a statement issued by the program, land that has already been developed has reached more than 75 million square meters, while land that has entered the first stages of development has reached more than 48 million square meters. In addition, more than 39 million square meters of land has entered the real estate trading area, which has contributed to increasing market activity and meeting the needs of citizens.

Investment of fee revenues

The White Land Fee Program allocates fee revenues for infrastructure development in many residential projects in the Kingdom. To date, more than 2.7 billion riyals have been spent on equipping the infrastructure of more than 100 residential projects. These efforts have resulted in the provision of more than 134,000 residential and commercial units, contributing to improving the quality of life and increasing the rate of homeownership.

Stages of implementation of the fee system

White land fees are applied in three phases aimed at achieving justice and incentivizing the utilization of unused land. These phases include:

The first phase:
It targets undeveloped lands with an area of 10,000 square meters or more, located within the urban area defined by the ministry.

<The second phase:
It includes developed lands with an area of 10,000 square meters or more, in addition to the total developed lands of one owner with an area of 10,000 square meters or more in one plan within the urban area.

The third phase:
It covers developed land with an area of 5,000 square meters and more, as well as the total developed land of one owner with an area of 10,000 square meters and more in one city.
