<His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, inaugurated today the Samra Bridge project - one of the vital projects implemented by the Municipality of Hail Region - to develop the city of Hail and link the industrial and commercial area and the eastern neighborhoods with the rest of the city's neighborhoods.
His Highness was welcomed upon arrival at the project site by the regional secretary, Engineer Sultan bin Hamed Al-Zaidi, and viewed the project sign, listened to an explanation about its basic components and the construction stages that have taken place, giving the signal to start traffic on the bridge.
The bridge is located on the Al-Adir Valley. The bridge is 115 meters long and 30 meters wide and consists of three lanes in each direction, including sidewalks, lighting, irrigation network, planting of the central island, pavement painting, traffic painting and concrete lining of the valley.
The project, the first phase of which cost more than (27) million riyals and the second phase more than (4) million riyals, is one of the vital and important projects as a main and commercial artery, connecting the industrial area, the central vegetable market, the commercial area, and the eastern neighborhoods of Hail city such as the housing neighborhood, Al-Suwaifla neighborhood, and Al-Kharimi neighborhood with the rest of the neighborhoods.
His Highness the Emir of Hail praised the generous support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them - for the development of the country and their keenness to continue the march of development and provide all capabilities to raise the quality of life for citizens and residents, stressing the importance of this project to link the east of Hail to its west, to add to the rest of the development projects of this dear country, pointing to the importance of continuing to exert more efforts to keep pace with the aspirations of the leadership.
For his part, Engineer Sultan Al-Zaidi thanked His Highness the Emir of the region, stressing that His Highness's interest and continuous follow-up of development projects in the region motivates them to continue working and achieve the targets and plans set for the development of the region.
