National Housing Company NHC has signed a set of agreements and memorandums of understanding with a number of major Chinese construction companies, as part of the plan to implement 100,000 joint housing units by 2030, as part of ongoing efforts to develop the housing sector and strengthen international partnerships that support the Saudi vision.

As part of the growing cooperation between the two companies, the memorandums also include strategic agreements aimed at supporting supply chains and expanding the localization of industries related to the construction sector. <Within the framework of the growing cooperation between the two sides, a framework agreement was signed with the Seventh China Construction Bureau for General Engineering to implement 20,000 housing units worth SAR 8.7 billion, the fifth joint project between the two parties so far. The second project was awarded to the Chinese company CICC, with an incentive for the company to participate in an additional program to build 20,000 housing units within the same initiative.
