Riyadh hosts Black Hat 2025 with 45,000 professionals from 140 countries participating to discuss cybersecurity.

Riyadh is hosting today the new edition of the “Black Hat” Middle East and Africa 2025 event, organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, and Tahalf, a joint venture between the Federation, the Events Investment Fund, and Informa International, from December 2 to 4 at the Riyadh Convention and Exhibition Center (Malham).

‎The event attracts more than 45,000 participants, as well as more than 450 exhibitors representing over 140 countries, to discuss the future requirements for digital security amid escalating threats related to artificial intelligence and tightening global regulations.

‎This year’s event will address several key topics, most notably: autonomous security operations, threat intelligence analysis, digital trust, and preparedness for the post-quantum computing era, as well as risks to operational systems and the Internet of Things, cybersecurity insurance, and escalating digital conflicts.
‎The program also includes the Executive Summit, the Financial Summit, Black Hat briefings, “Deep Dive” sessions, the “Camps” program, and the “Women in the Spotlight” initiative, as well as CISO workshops and “Arsenal” labs, with the aim of providing practical insights that contribute to strengthening defense and response capabilities and improving the efficiency of organizations“ digital infrastructures.

‎The event’s sessions will feature an elite group of global leaders and experts, including: Dr. Raman Chaudhary, Devon Bryan, Charles Forte, Margarita Rivera, Jerik Pison, Tim Erhart, Trina Ford, Timothy Lee, and Dr. Chenchi Wang, who will discuss the reality of cyber threats and the regulatory and geopolitical shifts affecting the sector.

‎Global technology companies, including Fortinet, Zscaler, SentinelOne, Cisco, Dragos, Huawei, Thales, Trend Micro, Google Cloud Security, and Tenable, will present future cybersecurity trends, while startups and researchers will showcase the latest testing and protection methodologies in real-world environments.

‎The event will feature the ”Capture the Flag“ competition, one of the event’s highlights, offering prizes of up to one million Saudi riyals in areas including cryptanalysis, reverse engineering, and attack development, within interactive platforms that bring together specialists to test their practical skills.
