The Board of Directors of The Federation of Saudi Chambers, during its meeting yesterday, elected Abdullah bin Saleh Kamel as President of the Federation, and Emad bin Sadad Al-Fakhri and Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Saikhan as Vice-Presidents, for the sixteenth session (2026-2029).
<The Federation explained in a statement that the election process took place in accordance with the approved statutory procedures, under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Commerce and the Legal Department, in an atmosphere of transparency and consensus, reflecting the confidence of the Saudi business sector in the elected economic leaders and its aspirations for the next stage. The statement pointed out that the new leadership possesses extensive experience and a proven professional record in commercial and institutional work, and looks forward to contributing to enhancing the Federation's performance and developing its role in supporting the business sector and the national economy, especially in light of the upcoming stage of economic benefits and the growing role of the private sector as a key partner in the development process.
Abdullah bin Abdullah expressed his confidence in the elected economic leaders and their aspirations for the next stage. For their part, Abdullah bin Saleh Kamel and his two deputies expressed their thanks and appreciation to the board members for the trust they placed in them, stressing their commitment to continue working to empower the private sector, develop the Federation's work system, and enhance its contribution to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry is the Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The elected President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Abdullah Kamel, is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber and Chairman of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, while his deputies Emad Al-Fakhri is the Chairman of the Tabuk Chamber and Khalid Al-Saikhan is the Chairman of the Unaiza Chamber.
It is noteworthy that the number of sessions of the Board of Directors of the Federation since its establishment in 1980 has reached (15) sessions, in which 18 names, representing the most prominent names in the financial and business sector in the Kingdom, held the presidency, during which the Federation played important roles in serving the business sector and local and international investors and strengthening the Kingdom's economic relations with trade partners around the world, in addition to its contribution to serving urgent economic, developmental and social issues through an effective partnership with government agencies.
The number of sessions of the Board of Directors of the Federation has reached (15) sessions.
