Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs issues a decision to form the steering committee for the implementation and development of the “Ijada” program”

The Acting Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, issued a decision to form the steering committee to implement and develop the control and inspection program “Ijada” at the level of all secretariats, based on the approval of the Supreme Order to contract with Alam Company to implement the program in the form of a contract for the Riyadh Municipality.

The decision set several objectives for the committee, namely issuing directives and adopting plans for the Ijada program, working to spread the program geographically and qualitatively, deciding on the recommendations submitted by the executive committees in the secretariats, in addition to reviewing economic studies and social impacts of the program “Ijada”.

The committee, according to the decision, will be chaired by Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs in charge, and the following members:

Ijada program is a national initiative that emerged from the Saudi Vision 2030 program and aims to develop and improve the control and inspection mechanism, apply the best professional standards and modern technologies used in this field, develop the skills of monitors and inspectors, ensure the maintenance of a high and stable level of control and inspection work, and raise the levels of commitment of the owners of establishments and shops to the special and general requirements for practicing activities.

Ijada program is a national initiative that emerged from the program to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
