The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz issued two royal orders appointing HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz as the Governor of Eastern Province with the rank of Minister, and HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as the Governor of Medina Province with the rank of Minister.
The following is the text of the two royal orders:

With the help of God Almighty
We, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Having reviewed the fifty-eighth article of the Basic Law of Governance issued by Royal Decree No. (A/90) dated 8/27/1412 A.H.
Having reviewed the Law of Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and Employees of Excellent Rank promulgated by Royal Decree No. (M/10) dated 18/3/1391 A.H.
Having reviewed the Regions Law issued by Royal Decree No. (A/92) dated 27/8/1412 A.H. Royal Decree No. (A/52) dated 30/2/1430 A.H.
Royal Decree No. (A/232) dated 12/19/1432 A.H.
Having reviewed Royal Decree No. (A/14) dated 3/3/1414 A.H.
We hereby order the following:
First: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Emir of the Eastern Province, shall be relieved of his post upon his request.
Second: His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chief of Staff and Special Advisor to His Highness the Crown Prince, shall be relieved of his post and appointed Emir of the Eastern Province with the rank of Minister.
Third: This order shall be communicated to the competent authorities for approval and implementation.

Second: His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud shall be appointed Governor of Madinah Region with the rank of Minister.
Third: Our order shall be communicated to the competent authorities for approval and implementation.
