The Governor of Najran Reviews the Efforts and Projects of the Saudi Contractors Authority in the Region

A review of the Authority’s annual report and its initiatives to develop the construction sector in Najran and support local talent and small and medium-sized enterprises.

His Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musa'ad, Governor of the Najran Region, praised the role played by the Saudi Contractors Authority in regulating and developing construction sector, and enhancing its efficiency, emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to boost the sector’s efficiency and improve the quality of project implementation, thereby supporting the development process. This came during a meeting His Highness held in his office today with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority , Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, and a number of members of the Authority’s Board of Directors.

During the meeting, a brief presentation was given on the Authority’s 2025 annual report, which highlighted the most significant initiatives and achievements made during the year, as well as the programs and projects the Authority is implementing to develop the regulatory environment for the construction sector, empower national enterprises, and improve performance and quality.
The Authority’s delegation discussed the key features of the construction sector’s strategy and ongoing development initiatives, which include enhancing contractors" efficiency, promoting innovation and modern technologies, and raising compliance and quality standards, as well as developing initiatives aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the sector, empowering national talent, and creating quality opportunities that contribute to sustainable growth.

The delegation reviewed the current state of the construction sector in the Najran region, as well as the region’s ongoing development momentum and strategic projects that contribute to economic growth. They also analyzed the region’s price index in comparison to several cities across the Kingdom, thereby supporting data- and indicator-driven decision-making.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority emphasized that the visit to the Najran region is part of the Authority’s meetings with regional emirates to enhance joint coordination, review the latest developments in the construction sector, and support its role as a fundamental pillar in the implementation of development projects. He praised the region’s development momentum and investment opportunities, which contribute to the growth of the construction sector and strengthen its contribution to development.
