His Excellency the Minister of Transport, Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Mostakbal, will open next Sunday afternoon, May 31, the work of the Transport Exhibition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Riyadh International Exhibition and Convention Center in the presence of the leaders of the ministry, institutions and government agencies related to various transportation sectors and projects in the Kingdom and heads of local companies and international alliances that will present their projects currently being implemented and future projects in public transport facilities and services, and at the forefront of the participating projects is the King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project in Riyadh, which the Supreme Authority for Development of Riyadh City is participating in the exhibition through its pavilion. For its part, the Ministry of Transport will present its upcoming projects, visions and plans in the development of the transportation sector with all its facilities and services because it has a great impact on economic and social development.
<The General Organization for Saudi Railways will also present updates on the implementation stages of its projects, including the Haramain train project and its stations, in addition to the organization's future projects in building new stations and introducing modern technologies, trailers and means of transporting passengers and goods. From the corporate sector, the Saudi Binladin Group will participate in the exhibition with models and information on the large transportation projects that are being implemented, including the new airports in the Kingdom and railway projects related to the transportation of industrial and commercial products, while the Saudi Mass Transit Company will display models of its buses and passenger transportation and service
Another group of Saudi and international companies will make presentations on their logistics services supporting the transportation sector and their supplies and industries related to the construction and implementation of projects in this vital sector.
The exhibition will be open to visitors daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. and will conclude next Wednesday evening.
