The Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center issued today the first license for infrastructure project work following the transfer of licensing authority to the center; as a key step aimed at enhancing integrated planning and developing infrastructure efficiently and sustainably in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Vice President of Operations, Engineer Tariq bin Mohammed Al-Harbi, explained that the issuance of licenses will proceed in phases to ensure market needs and requirements are met, with a focus on improving efficiency, and accelerating the licensing process through direct electronic connectivity with various agencies, thereby enabling immediate data verification.

Al-Harbi noted that the center is working to achieve several strategic objectives, including improving the efficiency of infrastructure project planning and implementation, enhancing integration among relevant agencies, and supporting strategic partnerships, as well as improving the urban landscape and increasing the satisfaction of residents and beneficiaries, in addition to working to standardize permit and licensing criteria and digitize all project plans and information to ensure compliance with the highest international standards.

The Center invited all entities and citizens to visit its website (https://ripc.gov.sa) to learn more about the procedures for obtaining licenses and permits for infrastructure projects.

It is worth noting that the Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center was established by a Cabinet decision on July 19, 2023, with the aim of advancing infrastructure projects, contribute to efficient spending, enhance quality of life, and improve the urban landscape—all toward sustainable infrastructure.
