Al-Ahsa Municipality yesterday issued the first building license for a residential project according to the requirements of "Saudi Architecture", in a step that represents a qualitative start to embody the urban identity of the Al-Ahsa oasis and activate the cultural and urban heritage in the cities of the Kingdom.
Al-Ahsa Municipality has started to apply the Saudi Architecture Requirements. Al-Ahsa Secretary Engineer Essam Al-Mulla explained that the implementation of Saudi Architecture Requirements on residential buildings represents a pivotal stage in the path of urban development, as it contributes to reformulating the urban landscape according to the elements of national identity and focuses on promoting quality of life in sustainable, functionally and aesthetically integrated residential environments.
