<The third phase of the Design Guidelines for Saudi Architecture began today, covering major government projects and commercial buildings in three new cities: Jizan, Sakaka and Buraidah, joining Dammam, Khobar, Qatif, Hail, Al Baha, Medina, Najran, Abha, Taif and Al Ahsa, which were covered in the first and second phases of the Saudi Architecture Map launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Design Guidelines for Saudi Architecture, in March last year.

The models covered by the Saudi Architecture Map includes Najdi architecture, northern Najdi architecture, Tabuk coastal architecture, Medina architecture, Medina countryside architecture, Hejazi coastal architecture, Taif architecture, Sarawat Mountains architecture. Asir Edition, Tihama Foothills, Tihama Coast, Tihama Coast, Abha Highlands, Farsan Islands, Bisha Desert, Najran Desert, Al-Ahsa Oasis, Al-Qatif, East Coast, and Eastern Najdiya.
